I was at the one room school today and work is under way under the supervision of Steve Toohey; his crew is doing a great job! Steve told me that the fence will be installed today. Thanks to Steve for his great job in keeping this project going.

Terrific news! Once scrap metal was removed, there was still much debris … it was destined for a dumpster marked Trash That Stuff! provided by Steve, owner of Rapid Response Restoration, Inc. 888-MR RAPID.
The interior of the schoolhouse can now be better assessed. Recall that the center floor of the south school room had rotted from rain and weather, and fallen into the basement. Safe access is still restricted!
The fencing, fulfilling safety concerns and insurance liability, is being donated for the duration of construction by the Southway Fence Company (330) 477-5251.

Great news, was at the school house for the last two days watching Steve and his crew working. What a great job Steve is doing we are very lucky to have him heading up this project. Things are taking shape; his crew of young men are working extremely hard in all this heat, scraping down all the walls of old paint, tearing down walls … these guys are awesome. Steve has made great progress. Stop by and say thanks if you are out and about to all these young men. If members stop by, please refrain from entering school house due to all the construction unless Steve is there and he ok’s it and has proper safety protection. To all members have a great day.
